Sketchs

This is a park in Casadegga Florida, The small town is inhabitaed by spiritualist and psychics, it is a interesting area and has an old Hotel that has been said to be haunted. This is the first time I had been in the town and I entered the hotel and drew a sketch of the young woman working at the desk. The woman said "your a Taurus " ( which I am) never ment or saw this woman before and only a brief conversation .

Fay is gone

Well Fay is gone thank goodness, intense flooding in many areas, seven deaths in Florida .
People were allowing their children to play in the standing water. Evan after being warned of the dangers of play in the sewer water. Amazing how stupid some folks can be .

hurricane Fay

We are expecting Hurricane Fay to hit Florida in the next few days. How strong it will be or where it will effect is really anybodys guess. But it isd now predicted that it will hit central florida in the area where I reside. The unpredicctability of these storms is the worst part and one of the reasons I dislike living in Florida. I'm really not sure what I am going to do. I have never had to go to a shelter and I have my dog ( Scooter ) to consider. I guess I will just have to tough it out and hope for the best.
The worst part is after the storm when there is no electric, and you a forced to live in a condition that is somewhat primitave. There is also the lack of gas or if there is gas everyone is fighting to get to it and we get the animals of homo sapiens act out. I past storms I have actuall seen people actuall fight to get ahead of the line. I still wish I could live in the woods away from the rest of society.

Here is a watercolor overlooking the lake near my house , I used to live on this lake and would often go out on it, sketch plants, birds, gators etc. I watched a family of six gators grow from hatchlings to about 7 ft. long before I moved from this place. I' ve seen and help lift a thirteen foot gator into a truck after a state authorzed hunt. I hated to see that. But man keeps incroaching on the wildlifes home and soon there will only be these bueatiful beasts to see in the zoo caged. Isn't it ironic that the only beast that kills for greed and lust is the human.
